walking on sunshine
Today I stopped by the highly anticipated Opening Ceremony sample sale with somewhat low expectations….and hit the footwear jackpot.
I left with 3 pairs of shoes that I’ve wanted for ages, but were out of my budget, even on clearance. They were marked down to only $50 from the original retail price of approximately $450 per pair.
These will be the perfect everyday shoes for when spring comes around.
I’m tempted to dye these oxford heels black, but the brownish/burgundy color is so warm and rich…what to do??
These wedges are so lightweight and comfortable, and I’ve wanted a pair of beige/nude shoes for a while now.
Having humongous feet came in handy for once!
If you’re in New York, stop by the sale, the highlight of which is definitely the shoe selection.

Aw dude, you lucked out! By the time I got there, most of those shoes were gone, and the clothing—well everything good as still out of my price range so I left emptyhanded. I’m thinking of going back on Sunday when they usually slash prices.

i agree, i went near closing tonight and wasn’t that impressed overall with the selection. the best was def. the shoe section- got a pair myself i’ll share soon..
woah, sweet score! I quite like the colour of the burgundy ones, maybe wear them and see if you like it? But the nude suede ones are pretty damn great.
jealous… the shoes are hot
holy crap, so amazing! i am thinking about going today but i am sure all the size 8 shoes have been snatched already.
I like those nude ones a lot! I only saw the black ones prior to the sale. All the 35s and 36s were gone for the styles that I liked by the time I got there
Wow I really like the nude wedges!! I’ve been looking for a wedge boot these days esp with the cold weather… but to no avail!
i love the first and the last!!

this is yet again a perfect example of why I should move to NYC… (trying to convince the boyfriend is harder than you’d thought)
Marked down to 50, thats unbelievable!
The first and last pair are both really amazing.
$50 a pair!!! what a fantastic sale. . . sorry i wasn’t in New York for this one.
last piar = gorgeous ! YEAP, you lucky one
hey! check out kirnazabete.com for the les chiffoniers pants – and a whole lot of other great stuff on sale (my rick owens leather skirt was there on sale too – I kind of wish I had bought it from kirna zabete because they sell it with cashmere bloomers, unlike barneys where i bought mine from.) you can also stop by the store since you’re in ny but it looks like they have a lot of great things on sale on their site. at least they did last week, when i bought the pants. i haven’t gone back to the site since, i have to resist temptation! lol…
happy new year!!
omg! lucky!
